Wait, did I just traveled to Spain? Oh no, it's just La Casa Del Camino in Laguna Beach! Oops this place is so charming I forgot where I was!
If you've been following my blog for awhile, you would know that I love to travel whenever I can. And when I can't, I'll take a staycation any day! Laguna Beach is only an hour and a half away and I can't believe I've never been until now. It's pretty small so honestly there isn't too many things to do besides the beach, the infamous pirate tower, cute shops and restaurants, and some hiking trails. This is why a weekend is the perfect amount of time you'd need.
Now back to La Casa Del Camino, shall we? The staff was so friendly and accommodating upon checking in and bonus point for it being dog-friendly too! We stayed in the Quiksilver room with beautiful wood details, unique light fixtures, and high ceiling, overlooking the courtyard. Speaking of courtyard, hands down the best courtyard I've seen since traveling to Europe and I am totally guilty of taking way too many photos there! Breakfast is included and served in the courtyard every morning, it was such a pleasant start of the day! And after a day of exploring and hiking along the coast, we spent the evening at The Rooftop Lounge on top of La Casa Del Camino and caught the most gorgeous sunset. Mark had a red sangria and I had a white sangria (white sangria is hard to come by), and they were equally delicious! And the food, omg, I was so surprised at how good they were! I never have high expectation for casual bar food but the portions were big and that coconut prawns! Oh man, I wish I can have some right now!
Thank you La Casa Del Camino for hosting us and for such a lovely weekend! We (and the pups) can't wait to be back!
