Paris, my love! You stole my heart! It's a bit like when people say "there's magic in the air", it definitely felt like that this time (my third time) in Paris. As I mentioned in my Paris Part 1 Post that I spent most of this trip wandering around. If you have been to Paris before, I highly suggest you to revisit again but ditch all the tourist spots and just get lost and wander. You are going to see Paris like you have never seen before. Really not much to say here because photos speak for themselves and I am still speechless about this city of love... As always, products are linked at the end of the post. Back to my regular programming of travel content, shall we? Palais Royal in Paris might be overrated and taking photos there is totally cliché but... I had to! Not to mention, there are plenty of fun things to do around there. Jardin du Palais Royal is absolutely beautiful, it's always busy but there is something calming about it. It is lined with unique vintage shops and boutiques, as well as the infamous Café Kitsuné. And just across the street is the Louvre. Traveling in a simple black outfit with sneakers is my absolutely go to (products linked at the bottom of this post). Classic, chic, comfortable... you simply can't go wrong!

It's true when they say you can never go wrong with a little black dress. This collection is all about timeless pieces that scream a lot of class with a little bit of sass. Think neutral palette, structured silhouette, beautiful texture and material. My personal favorite is the Gardenia dress, something about it makes me feel super confident. If you follow me on Instagram then you would know that I recently spent two weeks in Paris and Italy. Paris is not new to me since I have been there twice before, however, this time was a completely different experience. This trip was planned somewhat spontaneously with my good friend Bryn whom I met back in San Francisco. She had moved to Australia about a year and half ago and I needed to get away so we decided to reunite in Paris. Day one consisted of checking out too many cafes, munching and drinking at the infamous Frenchie wine bar, discovering Aux Merveilleux de Fred (the most delicious cloud-like treats I have ever had), and somehow winding up and partying it up at Rosa Bonheur (a bar on a boat on the Seine). Our first day did not disappoint and day two got even better...

I have been to New York City five times now but this city has so much to offer that I can never check everything off my list. It had always been a dream of mine to shoot on a boat in Central Park and that dream came true last month. Was it everything I dreamed of, you ask? Yes, except for the fact that these row boats are very difficult to navigate. Me? No way (I don't have the strength for that). Jeremy? Barely (haha). Luckily, our friend Brandon was with us and he was surprisingly skilled at rowing the boat so we assigned him that job. It was at sunset, the lighting was perfectly filtered, we floated around the lake and got some nice photos. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our last evening in NYC.

Some things never get old, like the Brooklyn Bridge. Last year around the same time I woke up at 6am to catch the sunrise on the bridge (see that post here) and I just did it again! Early morning is the best time to go if you want to avoid the crowd and get some decent photos. There was still a decent amount of joggers and bikers but if you are patient enough you will get brief moments where no one will be in your shot. Also, if you are shooting on the Manhattan side facing Brooklyn, the morning sun will be perfectly backlit behind you. It was the morning of 9/11 and there was definitely some intensity in the air. And I thought I would be slightly patriotic by wearing this red silky top by Lovers + Friends from Revolve with tiny star print. I rarely wear red but I adore this top... the ruffles, the asymmetrical sleeves, and the tied details around the neckline. I styled it with a pair of denim from PacSun, a chained mini bag by Henri Bendel, and these fabulous black and white leather booties with the coolest heels by Zvelle. It's been well over two weeks since these photos were taken but I tend to save the best for last so there you have it...
