Roadtrip Bohemian

As I get older, my style has become pretty predictable. However, I still go out of my comfort zone once in awhile especially when I am traveling to locales with a specific vibe. On my first day to Big Sur during Memorial Day weekend (after a night of hiking in unflattering clothes covered in dirt), I wanted to dress up a little and perhaps feel like a human again. When I spotted this maxi dress at work, I knew I had to bring it with me to Big Sur and create a roadtrip inspired bohemian look. It's hard to find a good paisley print but this one is just perfect. I also love the silhouette and the ascot bow tied at the neckline. I styled it with a pair of leather ankle booties by Madewell, a small backpack by INC International Concepts, a wool fedora hat, and my new classic sunnies by Ray-Ban that I can't seem to take off. The only thing that's missing from this outfit is an acoustic guitar and a Westfalia.
