I have had so many photos taken in my lifetime (well, at least for the last 4 blogging years) and I can proudly say that these are some of my absolute favorites! Often times people don't understand and can't appreciate the amount of work and energy put behind each photograph. So many factors are involved and taken into consideration, as well as the pre- and post-production. I was flying out of JFK at 10:30 one Monday morning but photographer Daniel Glazer and I were determined to get these shots so we made it happened! I woke up at 6am, packed, checked out of my hotel, and met up with him at 7am to shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge. The sun was just rising and the light was perfectly filtered and soft. Despite the fact that I was freezing in this lovely Free People open-back dress, everything went accordingly!
