Last week, I was invited to a super fun brunch event hosted by Hushpuppies. We previewed the Fall collection while mingling with blogger friends as well as making new ones! There were so many of us there and we were all wearing shoes by Hushpuppies. This might have been the one and only time when you see someone wearing the same pair of shoes and you are totally okay with it! I have the Melodi Langdon in wine suede... such gorgeous color and so comfy! I paired them with this adorable pinafore with floral embroidery details layered with a bell sleeved knit top! Fall is here and I am excited to be playing more with layers!

Fall is here! You know what else is here? My collaboration with KAYU! I did some freelance work (creating and photographing social content) a year ago or so when I was living in the Peninsula so it was very nice to team up with KAYU again! For their Fall Collection, I designed three clutches in a couple of fun and quirky prints - Blizzard, Eye Clutch, and Eye Pouch. Check out my little write-up and interview over on KAYU's blog here! A little while ago, I spent a lovely day and night in Napa with A.Jaffe, Padis Jewelers, and a few blogger friends. The Padis residence and vineyard overlooking Napa Valley was absolutely beautiful! We had wine tasting, enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres, and picked and ate grapes straight off the vines before having a delectable 4-course dinner (and more wine of course) in the wine cave! A.Jaffe and Padis hosted us at the Ivy Hotel before heading back to SF to host an event for Maps by A.Jaffe. If you are not familiar with Maps by A.Jaffe, it lets you customize jewelry pieces based on a map or location of your choice and you can place a diamond on a specific spot! Mine is a map of California and the diamond is of course San Francisco! And if that's not enough, you can also engrave something on the back whether it be a date or a phase. Mine says "Carpe diem" because I am truly trying to live in the moment nowadays!

I cannot believe today is the first day of Fall! Summer might be over but we here in SF are just beginning to feel the heat. This week has been fairly warm and it looks like it will stay this way for awhile. Ideally I wanted my first Fall post to be, well, very Fall. Realistically, it's hot and this is what I wore yesterday. I absolutely adore this gingham dress by Dahlia... the dramatic ruffles, the off-shoulder silhouette, and the bow! I paired it with the Blizzard clutch that I designed for Kayu (blog post about this special collaboration coming soon)! This clutch is made out of resin and hand inlaid with brass and shell dots with an ultra-suede lining! Can't wait to show you the other designs I dreamed up!

Here are the other photos (you can see the first batch here) from my shoot with Adrian Cabrero in Brooklyn! I was literally dying wearing this leather jacket in that 90℉ heat but I was in New York and feeling a little badass so I had to. And it was worth it! Underneath that jacket were... semi-sheer laced up blouse, striped shorts, leather mules, and this awesome leather and canvas tote that made traveling much easier. New York City, you were so good to me, I shall see you again soon.
