When I visited Farmhouse Inn up in Forestville (see post
here), I took a little detour to the other side of wine country to St. Helena and had an amazing dinner at
Farmstead at
Long Meadow Ranch. We ordered so many appetizers because we couldn't decide, they all sounded so good. So we ended up with deviled eggs, artichokes, steak tartare and butter biscuits! For entree, we had the salmon with summer squash and the BBQ ribs. We had rosé and pinot noir from the
Long Meadow Ranch winery and they paired perfectly with our meal! And last but not least, we had beignets with a caramel sauce for dessert (sadly it was too dark to photograph by that time) and they were so so so delicious! The restaurant setting was beautiful as well with a lovely outdoor seating area. We had such a wonderful time, thank you
