I have been trying this new thing where I am drastically minimizing my wardrobe (and things in general). I downsized my apartment from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom which means I no longer have a master-bedroom-turned-closet. It's been a real struggle getting rid of things I love (but don't need), there are days where I am literally moving things from one corner to another corner because I have no room to store them. It is a work in progress but I am getting there! I am focusing on keeping classic pieces that will last a long time... like this cotton poplin shirt by Everlane. The square silhouette gives it a modern twist without looking too boxy, it actually looks quite flattering. I paired it with some vintage denim shorts and simple leather sandals also by Everlane. Keeping it simple and classic this summer!

I don't usually buy into the heat-of-the-moment type trends like the recent hype on chokers, however, I could not resist these beautiful choker necklaces from Lulu Frost. They take chokers onto a whole new level... less punk, and way more elegant. And why wear one when you can stack on two? I am rocking the snake chain choker and the box chain choker, paired with a silky slip dress by Azalea, classic leather loafers by Everlane and a cute Coach bag. Happy first day of summer! Wow, I can't believe we are already half way through this year! The weather in the SF Bay Area has been incredibly warm and gorgeous lately, work is going well, overall life is pretty good! Can you tell I'm in a good mood? Not to mention a dear friend is visiting from Germany in less than two weeks and I am taking an entire week off to show him around, and then right after that I am going to Cabo! Can't wait! As for my outfit, this laced up bodycon dress is so comfy and cute, perfect for a day out and about! I tied a Levi's denim jacket around the waist because you never know if the temperature will drop in the evening. It also makes a good accessory as well!

I have had this dress for awhile (a couple of years actually) but I just realize I never blogged about it! I mean, cactus makes perfect, especially on a hot summer day! It's like wearing a work of art because the print is by Bett Norris from Print All Over Me. I paired it with a blush monogrammed leather tote from Mark & Graham, cute laced up espadrilles, and rose gold aviators. Also, I am loving my new watch from Fossil. The big rose gold watch face gives just the right amount of drama to the wrist!

The off shoulder silhouette is perfect for hot summer days, like the BottleRock weekend a couple of weeks ago where the weather was up in the 90s and the sun was burning. I love the soft white and chambray stripes and the cute peasant bell sleeves of this off shoulder top by Azalea. The best part though is how airy it is, definitely helped when bracing the heat! I paired it with simple white denim shorts, leather mini tote and leather booties. These photos were taken at the ranch we stayed at, it was relaxing and simply breathtaking.
