When ASOS asked me to bring out the bohemian in me and channel my favorite 70s fashion icon, I immediately thought of Stevie Nicks (Great, I have Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" stuck in my head now). My look here is inspired by her ultra feminine yet edgy aesthetic. I styled this gorgeous off-white crochet lace open back maxi dress with a wide brim fedora hat, a pair of laced up flats, and an incredible grommet fringed clutch! It might be difficult to see but this clutch is made of suede with calf hair details and the grommets are of mixed metals in gold and silver. What a statement piece! I love how these black accessories, when styled with the dress, really edged up the whole look!

Okay, I am just gonna dive right into it and say that this graphic satchel by Henri Bendel is my favorite bag of all time. Okay, I am just gonna dive right into it and say that this graphic satchel by Henri Bendel is my favorite bag of all time. You heard that right... not favorite bag of the moment, not favorite bag of the summer, but favorite bag of all time. This might sound silly but I honestly can't remember the last time I have such strong feelings toward a bag. I have been carrying it everywhere and I get compliments every time. There was even a couple of incidents where people felt the need to touch it! I wish I can say that my life is good as gold but that's not the case. It's been a really rough past few months and my blogging game has been totally lacking, but things are finally looking up. I have been busier than ever and I am excited to see what the future holds. So, there you have it, a little personal update. Moving onto the outfit... I wore this black and white number last weekend. Don't be fooled! It is not a dress (most people kept telling me "I love your dress!"), this striped bustier top and daisy embroidered lace skirt just happened to look really good together! I paired it with a mini satchel by Henri Bendel with cute tassel details and these amazing striped wedges by GX by Gwen Stefani! The weather in the San Francisco Bay Area has been glorious, hope it keeps up!

Good as Gold

Remember those candy necklaces we once thought were so cool, perhaps back in junior high? This pastel barrel handbag by Nicole Lee reminds me of that, and cotton candy, or basically just any candy! I adore it! The different shades of pastel are so much fun and I also love the floral embellishment and grid-cutout details. I will be taking it to carnivals, to picnics, to the pool... all summer long!
