Blush and Black

Valentine's Day might be over but the pink continues. What I can say... I love pink (obviously, I prefer blush pink over hot pink)! Most people associate the color pink with anything super feminine and romantic but it is more of a neutral to me. It is a shade I wear all year round, layered up in deeper muted pink for fall and winter and lighter brighter pink for spring and summer. If you want to create an edgier look with a touch of girliness, just add some black to the mix, like today's outfit! I paired these blush pink high waisted denim with a black and white windowpane peplum tank and an awesome caped blazer (most awesome blazer ever)! Pink is more versatile than you think and it doesn't necessarily look over the top girly!
