Dainty Roses

I keep trying to avoid wearing darling little dresses like this but I always end up going back to it. Now don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a cute dress, in fact I love wearing a dress with over the knee socks looking a bit like an ultra girly girl blast from the past. You see, the thing is, as I get older I am trying to stray away from the "cuteness" and dress more age appropriate and more sophisticated. I feel like I do sometimes, but not enough. Anyways, I adore this soft peach chiffon dress with dainty little red roses embroidered on the front. It's simple yet lovely. I wore it with a pair of oatmeal beige crochet socks and the amazing Picnic sandals from the Wolverine x Samantha Pleet collection (I wore another pair in this post). Don't you just love the colorblock, the cut out strappy details, and how they have a vintage feel to them? I sure do!
