At first glance, I thought the florals on my dress are roses, but the more I look at them the more they look like dahlias! Either way, this dress by Lush from Lulu's is lovely. It has a classic tailored silhouette with a modern cut out on front. I layered it with a crochet duster also by Lush, one of my all-time favorite lace booties, and the incredible Maude bag from the LM x LM's (Lauren Merkin x Lauren Moffatt) dream collab! This look is part of Lulu's Fashion Face-Off contest and I am proud to represent TeamLace this week! Follow along each week for a new trend report and enter via Instagram for a chance to be featured and score a $500 gift card to Lulu's! You can check out the details here.

Last week we wandered around Stanford and stumbled upon a beautiful cactus garden. I have never really liked photographing near anything green, whether it be a tree, a grassy field, or the forest. On the contrary, these cactus seemed quite refreshing and my outfit looked nice among them. I am so in love with this crochet dress from Chicwish. Crochet is something I have always been fond of but the pattern and the scalloped hem of this dress make it extra special. I paired it with these awesome laser cut mules I got from Hong Kong ages ago and my new multi-zippered purse I got for $12! What a steal!

As the weather gets warmer, parties will start popping up. It's always tricky coming up with original yet fun things to make and bring to a party. So, today I am sharing with you an hors d'oeuvre recipe that is classic, mouthwatering, and won't break the bank! Say hello to crab stuffed (and topped) deviled eggs!
What you need:
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 4 oz surimi (imitation crab), shredded
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp sriracha or hot sauce
- cayenne pepper
Scoop out the yolks of the hard-boiled eggs and mash them up in a bowl. Mix in half of the shredded surimi, 3 tbsp mayo, worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, lemon juice, sriracha, salt and pepper. Put the mixture in a piping bag (or simply put it in a ziplock bag and cut off a corner) and fill the whites with the mixture. In another bowl, mix the remaining half of the surimi with 1 tbsp of mayonnaise and salt and pepper. Carefully spoon the mixture on top. Shake a little bit of cayenne pepper and oregano on top to give it a kick and for a spark of color! Bon Appétit!

When I had a balcony I didn't do anything with it and now that I don't have one, I really want one. Isn't life just funny? Luckily, our next apartment (if all goes accordingly) will have a balcony and all I can think of is how I am going to decorate it with plants! I was never good with plants, they always end up dying under my care or lack thereof, but hey I am going to give it a try again! Besides the balcony, I also plan to have plants around the house as well! Below are some decor inspirations with plants from my Pinterest (original sources can be found here)...

Stripes are one of those things I simply can never get tired of. It's even better when the stripes on a piece of garment are creatively placed. This dress from Kpopsicle I am wearing is the perfect example! The majority of the body is made up of horizontal stripes, but you have the fun little stripes along the neckline and the contrasting vertical stripes on the sides as well. What I also love about the dress are the ruched scrunchie-like sleeves, definitely an interesting touch. I paired it with a lovely lightweight peach pink coat which is perfect for this spring time weather and my new favorite bracelet. Don't you just love the pink, glittery coral and red together? So much fun!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter spending time with loved ones and eating loads of candy! I celebrated by dressing up like an Easter egg through the entire weekend in all sorts of pastels! I have always been a fan of mustard yellow so this dress by Pepaloves is perfect! Gorgeous shade of mustard, fun confetti-like dotted details, giant bow on front, and peter pan collar... what more can you ask for in a dress? I love it! I paired it with a cute heart shaped bag and these lovely heeled loafers by Le Bunny Bleu. Bunny! How appropriate!
