In exactly a week, I will be soaking in a clawfoot tub underneath redwood trees in Big Sur. I plan to travel more this year so I thought why not start with somewhere nearby. I am very fortunate to live just an hour and a half away from Big Sur but it is also unfortunate that I haven't gone there as often as I would like to. Big Sur is by far the most beautiful place I've been to on the west coast. I am especially excited this time around because we are staying overnight (last time my fiancé and I only took a day trip) at the Glen Oaks Big Sur Cabin. This cabin is so quaint and cozy, it is going to be the perfect getaway!

You should try the Pelican Inn at Muir Beach sometime--picturesque as all get out.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been to Point Lobos state reserve? its in between Santa Cruz and Big Sur, and at least as beautiful! If you and your boy want to do some easy hiking you should check it out! It's only like a half hour from Big Sur.
