People often ask me to define my style. Quite frankly, I don't know how. If you have been following my blog for awhile, you have most certainly seen me in girly outfits you would think only a doll can pull off, vintage outfits straight out of the 60s and 70s, edgy looks with dark lipstick that make me look a little bitchy, or looks so casual you would never expect from me. If you go to my
Lookbook, you can see a collection of my looks in thumbnail which really gives you an overview of what I am talking about. I love to play with prints and textures and mix the unexpected, but there is something really refreshing about a simple effortless look. White lace button down asymmetrically tucked into a pair of
black leather shorts and layered with an
olive maxi sweater, both by
The Cassette Society. I accessorized this neutral look with a
black snakeskin leather satchel by
Foley + Corinna and
biker booties with genuine cow hair details from
F21. Everything here is simple but with subtle yet intricate details. Seriously though, when it comes to style, the sky is the limit.

Love those boots! They add a quirky touch to the combination of business-feminine blouse and edgy shorts. You really do play with style "genres" well :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about having a hard time defining your style. I sometimes feel like I'm a little all over the place, but that's why I love your blog. You can pull off so many different looks! I really love these leather shorts on you. They're perfect with the white blouse and cool boots.
