These are mom's jeans, literally! My mom gave them to me a couple of weeks ago, they were hers when she was younger. They have such a great fit, perfectly high waisted and ankled, and I adore the little embroidered floral pattern. Her loss, my gain! To me, wearing blue jeans is equivalent to being casual, therefore this is what I consider a casual outfit. I wore the jeans with a lovely
crochet crop top by
Lucca Couture to a spontaneous day trip to Monterey last week. I layered with a lightweight blush colored cargo jacket since Monterey tends to be windy and cool all the time. My look was so casual that I felt the need to bring in a wow factor and my pair of Jeffrey Campbell x LF The Stunning did the job!
Vintage high waisted floral embroidered jeans from my mom.
Lightweight blush cargo jacket from F21.
Vintage leather tapestry bag from Etsy.

This is wonderful! I love that those were your mom's jeans. They look perfect on you and I love the little crochet top you wore with them. The two patterns really play off of one another. Your shoes are epic too!
ReplyDeleteMom jeans, love it! I'm always so jelly of people with fashionista mamas. I plan to keep lots of vintage goodies for my someday daughter...who'll probably end up hating vintage. lol
ReplyDeleteThose jeans are so lovely - your mom has great taste! You definitely look very chic in what you consider to be casual attire :)
