Wearing tons of blush pink and feeling slightly girly on a late afternoon stroll through Capitola. Sometimes it is nice to just throw something on that's simple and comfy but also looks put together. Casual knit top with boyfriend jeans paired with fancy strappy studded patent flats and structured handbag. On another note, I want to start writing different kinds of fashion related posts (don't worry I won't be cutting down my outfit posts). I have an interview post and other projects coming up, but what would you like to see on here? Feel free to leave me suggestions!

I have always envied those who are able to pair track pants with heels and look so good while doing so. This style is definitely something I want to experiment more with. This outfit, surprisingly, turned out to be quite sporty chic without planning it to be! I am wearing a Finders Keepers playsuit from its Loved Ones collection which is playful and sporty but feminine and chic at the same time. I pair it with this lightweight vintage blazer from Excavation LA with the most awesome spring time baroque lace floral print. Lastly, I finish off with coordinating accessories and a pair of white chunky platform sandals to keep everything looking as fresh as it can be.

Remember that vintage tribal sweater I wore in a post few weeks back? Well, here is another lovely piece from the same etsy shop, Heirra Vintage. It is seriously everything I want in a maxi dress. The painterly tulip print is gorgeous, in colors that are rich, romantic, but not over the top girly. The material is light and flowy with a wrapped and tied design that ensures a perfect fit. Even the length hits at the right spot too (I'm 5'2" and maxi dresses are often too long)! Calling this dress perfect is an understatement.
Now the best part... Heirra Vintage is kindly offering my readers 15% off! Check out this awesome vintage shop and shop away with coupon code "itsme"!

I am really loving all the perfectly neutral pieces from Max Studio Spring/Summer collection. Everything is so fresh and simple but carries great details. My absolute favorite is the Cloque Topper Coat which has awesome texture and a really easy shape that goes with any outfit. This collection also has some lovely day dresses as well such as the Embroidered Chiffon dress with beautiful embroidered lace and gorgeous gathered knot design. Max Studio is women's designer clothing that is modern yet classic and timeless.

I am going to start writing more fashion related posts like this besides my normal personal outfit posts to mix things up a bit and to give you a glimpse of what I am currently coveting and where I get my inspirations from. Would you guys like that? What else do you want to see on my blog? Feel free to drop me suggestions!

I couldn't think of a better place to shoot the Somervell dress than a field of wild flowers. This floral pleated chiffon dress from BB Dakota is like a breath of fresh air, flowy and dreamy in the prettiest violet and yellow. I layered a vintage 60s sheer lace jacket on top for an ultra feminine look. I recently rediscovered this vintage piece from one of my many boxes of clothes (I have no more room to hang them up) and it just goes with this dress oh-so-perfectly! Talk about mixing modern with vintage...

Four kinds of textures, three kinds of patterns, two kinds of stripes... all tied together with one shade of color. Mixing and matching is fun and spontaneous but I always make sure to pull the whole look together somehow. There are lots going on here, contrasting stripes and floral with a mix of knit, corduroy, leather and suede. I pieced all those elements together with different shades of burnt orange flowing through the entire outfit from head (lips, in this case) to toes. What do you think? Too much or just the perfect amount?

I am in San Jose quite often, mostly to visit my fiance's family. We usually go to the same spots but yesterday we decided to explore downtown and wandered upon this beautiful architecture on the San Jose State University campus. This tower building made of bricks and tiles and partially covered with vines reminds me of a Spanish villa. This is the exact kind of outfit I image myself wearing if I were to wander around Europe during summer... an easy dress with subtle details, simple flats, and statement jewelry like this gorgeous gold triple cuff and ring piece from Haute1. Now, you too have a chance to win this piece or other lovely jewelry because Haute1 and I have partnered up to give away a $50 giftcard to Haute1.com. The contest runs from 4/16-4/30. See the bottom of this post for details and good luck!

I have been dealing with some unexpected mishap in the past few days, but I soon came to the realization that it might be the best thing to ever happen to me. I was doing the same thing for so long that it is about time I move on to bigger and better things! To get away from all the stress, my fiance and I went on a mini adventure up in Loch Lomond. This lake and recreational park, just half an hour up the mountain from Santa Cruz, is a hidden gem! You can't tell from the photos but this place is huge! There are lovely little trails that go along the lake and you can also rent different kind of boats too! After having lunch on a picnic table right next to the water, we walked on a trail for awhile before going paddle-boating (on a glittery gold paddleboat)! As for my outfit, it was only appropriate to wear this awesome swan print dress gifted to me from ModCloth! If only there were actually swans in the lake too! I paired it with some simple matching accessories and these vintage flats which I've worn to death (I walked all over Italy and France in them a couple years ago). It was such a fun and relaxing day and I am really excited to see what the future holds for me!
