Marvelous mauve and nifty navy make the perfect pair! I love wearing hearts and girly outfits through the entire February, not just because of Valentine's Day but also our anniversary. Unlike the ultra pink outfit in my last post, this look is more subtle. Peter pan collar top layered with heart print cardigan, paired with stripes mini skirt, satchel handbag, and feminine scalloped booties. When it comes to mixing and matching colors, it's all about using the right shades. If the mauve is a lighter pink and the navy is sky blue, that would look awful. Just like yellow and green can go either way as well... bright yellow and true green can make you look like a tropical fruit whereas olive and mustard can be vibrantly pleasing.

This whole outfit is adorable and girly, but my favorite part are the shoes. I've been enjoying going through your archives.
