I love Erin Fetherston! This Songbird shift dress from her Fall 2010 collection is one of my all time favorite. It is super soft (made of 100% silk), feminine, and fun. I love how the mix of lavender and orange is so eye catching. I wear a lot of neutrals, I rarely wear black, and I love colors. I adore all the bird pieces from this collection... the cream flowy one is ultra feminine, the black one is edgy, but I knew this lavender shift dress is the one for me. I wore this little number with the perfect orange vintage belt, rust orange vintage peacoat, and these amazing colorblock chunky oxfords. Oh, and an interesting fact... both Erin Fetherston and I graduated from the same Practice of Art department from UC Berkeley. If I were a few years older, she could have been one of my classmates!
