I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! Chris and I went to my parents' in Oakland to celebrate and we managed to do a quick shoot at Lake Merritt. I got this vintage cape awhile ago but saved it to wear on Thanksgiving Day with this frilly dress I got from work. With its heavy brocade details and rich shade of olive, this cape is truly unique and gorgeous. I have never seen anything like it! As for the dress, I always love anything frilly... but what I really love is the color. That golden shade of ogre yellow is something I do not see very often, not to mention how perfectly it matches my cape! To complete the look, I threw on these chunky sequined boots for fun.
