I drove by this wall last week and had to come back to match the decorative cement blocks with my cut out patterned tights. How perfect! I love sweaters, I can never get enough, and they are even better when they are in awesome colors such as this deep dusty red. I would have worn it alone if I had on solid tights, but with these cut out patterned ones I decided to wear a pair of burgundy leather shorts underneath. I love playing with a plain canvas... especially an oversize solid sweater! Throw on a fur collar, pull on some fun tights, slip into some eye-catching shoes, and there you have a great outfit! Speaking of eye-catching shoes, I got these Sam Edelman Zoe the other day and I am in love! I have always fancied the entirely black ones but these brown and black ones are even dreamier! Lastly, I am really into wearing darker shades like this deep rouge color on my lips lately. What are your thoughts?

I am taking advantage of the last few days of this year to wear anything and everything reminiscing of the holiday season. This custom made Clothes Horse dress by Neneee reminds me of wrapping papers, and with my gold bracelets I look like a present wrapped in shiny ribbons! I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it featured on The Clothes Horse (yes, the dress is named after Rebecca's blog). The heavy brocade in fun colors and patterns, the puffed sleeves, the poof skirt, the pockets, and the low v-shaped neckline in the back... all those details make this dress amazing! To go with the holiday theme and the name of the dress, I put on my carousel horse necklace to complete this look.

Open front sweater with asymmetrical hem and fringes, acid wash skinnies, fur collar, and tapestry bag... that is what my lazy and easy days look like. The sweater is such a simple piece but the deep rouge color and fringes make it much more interesting. From a certain angle, you can almost mistake it for a scarf or shawl. I love circle scarves, so when I found this circle fur collar I didn't have to think twice! Lastly, I put on this amazing locket that is covered in sparkly pyrite pieces to complete the look!

It is funny how I have been wearing lots of red and green lately except on actual Christmas Day. This vintage 60s dress is one of the fancier pieces that I only pull out for special occasion, I couldn't think of a better day to wear it than Christmas Day! It is such a gorgeous dress, not only does it have a collar and sheer balloon sleeves, all those white floral details are entirely made out of beads! So intricate and delicate! I wore it with my Jeffrey Campbell Thelma. I adore these wedges, the oxford-like front is so fun and classy at the same time, and not to mention the metallic color is just perfect for the holiday!

It is so festive this time of the year and I felt that it was necessary to wear green and red (burgundy). I have had this little vintage coat for quite some time now, I adore the embroidery details and the fact that it is super cozy (it is lined with shearling) and has a hood. I styled it with a pair of burgundy corduroys, Jeffrey Campbell floral tapestry lita, and Chloé satchel. Happy Holidays everyone!

I love Erin Fetherston! This Songbird shift dress from her Fall 2010 collection is one of my all time favorite. It is super soft (made of 100% silk), feminine, and fun. I love how the mix of lavender and orange is so eye catching. I wear a lot of neutrals, I rarely wear black, and I love colors. I adore all the bird pieces from this collection... the cream flowy one is ultra feminine, the black one is edgy, but I knew this lavender shift dress is the one for me. I wore this little number with the perfect orange vintage belt, rust orange vintage peacoat, and these amazing colorblock chunky oxfords. Oh, and an interesting fact... both Erin Fetherston and I graduated from the same Practice of Art department from UC Berkeley. If I were a few years older, she could have been one of my classmates!
